Story

Captain Oleg Dolin wakes after spending two decades in a coma and finds himself in a police force transformed beyond recognition. As he returns to police service, the captain faces the difficult gap between the habits of the 1990s and the realities of modern investigations. The episode combines criminal cases with workplace comedy and a personal story about adapting to change, rebuilding trust and learning how to live after losing twenty years.

Overview

Cop from the Past is a Ukrainian crime comedy series directed by Oleg Borschevsky. Its central premise places a determined police captain in an unfamiliar present, where information is accessed through gadgets and old approaches to fighting crime require a fresh assessment. The series balances investigations with family tensions and the everyday confusion of a man returning to a life that continued without him.

This episode, the thirteenth installment of the show's third season, carries the series' blend of police drama, humor and personal adjustment. Oleg's return to the service gives the story a distinctive contrast between two eras, while his changed family circumstances add an emotional dimension to the procedural setting.
