The episode follows his difficult return to service as he tries to reconnect with the work, people and sense of duty that once defined him.

Overview

Cop from the Past combines crime drama with comedy and follows a law-enforcement officer whose experience comes from the turbulent 1990s. Directed by Oleg Borschevsky, this Ukrainian series draws its tension from the contrast between Oleg's old instincts and the contemporary police environment around him. His return creates room for both awkward encounters and serious questions about loyalty, responsibility and the meaning of a second chance. The story balances investigations with family complications, giving the episode a lively tone while keeping its central character grounded in the consequences of lost time. This fourth episode of the first season continues his adjustment to a world that moved on without him.
