Story
A lonely investigator named Koval has built his life around difficult cases, and work is the only meaning he sees in it. He is waiting for a place in the NBR, the department that investigates the most complex murders. A team of eccentric but loyal professionals becomes a kind of family to him, bringing warmth and dry humor to the investigations. Koval's own carefully guarded secrets add a more intimate and painful source of tension.
The story combines detective intrigue with character-driven drama and comic touches. The mystery provides the outward momentum, while the emotional focus rests on a man who understands how to pursue a case more easily than he understands how to let other people into his life.
