Story
The first episode introduces Koval, a solitary investigator for whom work has become the only meaning of life. He is waiting for the NBR, a department that investigates the most complex murder cases. Around this prospect stands a team of eccentric but loyal professionals who, as the series premise suggests, become something close to a family for him. Alongside the investigations, the story points to Koval's own secrets, which prove the most painful matter of all.
The series combines a detective framework with comic touches and a dramatic portrait of a man whose life has narrowed down to his job. Professional duty meets the need for human connection, and the story invites viewers to see how closely the two are intertwined.
