Story
Koval is a lonely investigator for whom work is the only meaning of life. He is waiting for his place in the NBR, a department that handles the most complex murder cases. Around him gathers a team of eccentric but loyal professionals who gradually become something like a family, while Koval's own secrets remain the most painful part of his story.
Overview
This is the second episode of the first season of Rabble, running about 44 minutes. The series is a 2026 Ukrainian production directed by Julia Pavlova, and it blends detective drama, comedy and human conflict. The genre mix points to a tone that moves between the tension of murder investigations and the offbeat humor of an unconventional team.
The series follows a solitary man whose devotion to his job leaves little room for anything else, and a group of colleagues who are as different from one another as they are dependable. Alongside the investigations, it explores the idea of a chosen family and the question of how much a guarded person can allow others to see. Viewers who enjoy character-driven crime stories with a lighter edge will find a good match here.
