Story
Episode 4 of the first season of Rabble belongs to a series about Koval, a lonely investigator for whom work is the only meaning of life. He awaits the NBR, a department that investigates the most complex murders. Around him, a team of eccentric but loyal professionals gradually becomes something like a family, while Koval's own secrets remain the most painful part of his story.
Detective tension, comedy, and drama meet in a story about professional duty, personal isolation, and the bonds that can form among very different people. This 45-minute episode continues that world without leaving the series' central premise.
Overview
This 2026 Ukrainian series combines an investigative premise with character-driven humor and a more intimate dramatic thread. It is directed by Julia Pavlova and set around a demanding investigator and the unconventional colleagues who become his closest circle. The tone moves between the pressure of complex murder cases and the lively, sometimes awkward dynamics within the team.
Its appeal comes from the contrast between Koval's reserved nature and the spirited personalities around him. That contrast leaves room for both procedural tension and human drama, with professional skill never fully hiding personal vulnerability.
