Overview

Supernatural follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, hunters who travel across the United States in their '67 Chevy Impala, battling the supernatural threats they meet along the way. Their lives were shaped by the loss of their mother to a demonic force and by their father's training in the hidden world of ghosts, spirits, vampires, ghouls, and other paranormal evils.

This is the ninth episode of Season 2, which continues the brothers' hunt for the demon that killed their mother and for other unholy agents of the supernatural. The episode blends the series' detective-style investigation with elements of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Drama. It is a dark, fast-moving chapter built around family loyalty, fear, and the search for a cause behind seemingly irrational behavior.
