Story
In Tree Hill, North Carolina, two half brothers stand on opposite sides of the town’s social and sporting divide. Lucas Scott has grown up with his mother Karen, finding recognition among friends at the river court and expressing himself through basketball. Nathan Scott enjoys wealth, popularity, and the admiration that comes with leading his high school team. Their rivalry carries the weight of an old family wound: years earlier, their father Dan abandoned Lucas and Karen before building a life with Deb and their son Nathan. As the brothers’ paths draw closer, basketball, loyalty, family history, and personal ambition begin to collide.
The drama follows young people trying to define themselves while living with choices made long before they were old enough to understand them. Rivalries conceal hurt, affection emerges in unexpected places, and the familiar world of a small American town becomes increasingly difficult to navigate.
