Story
In this episode of Cop from the Past, police captain Oleg Dolin continues his attempt to find a place in a world that moved on while he was in a coma. After waking two decades later, he returns to law enforcement and faces a reality shaped by digital technology, changed police methods and unfamiliar social rules. The work he once knew has taken a different form, while his personal life has become equally difficult to recognize.
Oleg must adapt to colleagues who have built new lives, a daughter who grew up without him and a society where information is accessed through gadgets rather than old investigative habits. Crime and comedy meet as his direct approach from the 1990s clashes with the routines of the present. Beneath the unusual premise, the episode follows a man trying to rebuild his identity, restore family connections and understand what remains of the life he lost.
