Story
At a party in the Hamptons, Carrie Bradshaw unexpectedly runs into Mr. Big and his new girlfriend, Natasha, who is 27. The meeting tests Carrie's composure, while her friends are busy with weekend plans of their own. Miranda tries, without much luck, to have some mature fun. Charlotte pretends to be in her twenties so she can date a charming 26-year-old. Samantha's 25-year-old former assistant is hired to throw a big Hamptons party and builds the guest list from her Rolodex.
The episode mixes sharp comedy with the awkwardness of meeting someone from the past in public. Each of the friends is trying to control how others see them, and that effort drives most of the weekend's complications.
