Story
Carrie Bradshaw seeks professional help after spending too much time fixated on her failed relationship with Mr. Big. Frustrated by a diagnosis that challenges her choices in love, she begins seeing Seth, an appealing fellow patient whose attitude toward relationships creates a new complication. Meanwhile, Miranda enjoys a flirtatious game with her neighbor across the airshaft, while Samantha becomes involved with a sports enthusiast whose temperament follows the fortunes of his favorite team.
Balancing romantic confusion with sharp observation, the episode explores dating patterns, emotional self-awareness and the awkward gap between what people want from intimacy and what they are prepared to offer.
