Story
Rory makes plans to attend prom, turning a classic teenage milestone into a mix of excitement and social pressure. Meanwhile, Lane’s rock band gets its debut at a big party, a chance to play for a much larger crowd than the musicians are used to. What should be a celebration grows tense as long-standing animosities come to the surface.
The episode sets two strands of teenage life in Stars Hollow side by side: the anticipation of a formal dance and the uncertainty of performing in public.
