Story
Khrystyna, a 35-year-old woman, is kidnapped by mistake in place of a businessman's wife. Instead of longing to return to her usual life, she sees the mix-up as a chance to escape the routine that has defined her days. As she gets to know her kidnapper better, her fear gives way to something else, and she makes a surprising decision: to become his accomplice.
Blending action, comedy and melodrama, the series turns a case of mistaken identity into a story about breaking free, taking risks and the possibility of starting over. The tone stays light and playful even as the situation grows more tangled.
Overview
Stolen for Christmas is a 2025 Ukrainian series directed by Vitaliy Kuksa, with its premiere timed for December 25th. Its festive framing provides a warm, offbeat backdrop for a romantic crime story in which an accidental abduction upends one woman's familiar existence.
This is the second episode of the first season and runs about 50 minutes. It continues the series' central premise: an unlikely bond between a kidnapper and the woman he took by mistake, set against the comic misunderstandings and emotional complications that follow.
Cast and Characters
The cast includes Daniel Marzhets, Antonina Khyzhniak, Roman Lutskyi, Katarina Fain and Oleksandr Sokolov.
The story centres on Khrystyna, a woman looking for a break from routine, and the kidnapper who unexpectedly becomes her companion. Their relationship drives the series and gives it room to balance comic friction with more intimate, emotional moments.
