Overview
Skincare combines the character-driven pressure of drama with the mounting unease of a thriller. The story explores ambition, reputation, competition, and the vulnerability that can accompany a public career. Hope's professional world gives the film a polished setting, while the mystery surrounding the rival boutique steadily casts doubt over the people and circumstances around her.
