Movie Survivor (2015)

Story

A Foreign Service Officer working in London finds herself caught between an impending terrorist attack and a conspiracy designed to silence her. When she becomes a suspect in crimes she did not commit, official protection disappears and a dangerous flight begins. She must stay ahead of the authorities while trying to uncover the truth and stop an attack aimed at New York.

With suspicion closing in from every direction, the pursuit moves across borders and places the officer under constant pressure. Her professional training, judgment, and ability to recognize danger become essential as she fights to clear her name and prevent a catastrophe. The story combines espionage tension with the pace of a crime thriller, keeping its central mystery focused on trust, identity, and the cost of exposing a hidden threat.

Overview

Survivor blends action, crime, and thriller elements in a story built around international danger and a woman forced to operate outside the system she once served. The London setting gives the opening a tense diplomatic backdrop, while the threat to New York broadens the conflict into a high-stakes pursuit with consequences beyond a single investigation.

Directed by James McTeigue, the film brings together British and American production backgrounds with a cast led by Milla Jovovich and Pierce Brosnan. Its appeal rests on a direct premise: one professional must expose the conspiracy surrounding her before the accusation against her becomes more powerful than the evidence.

Cast and Characters

Milla Jovovich leads the cast as the Foreign Service Officer at the center of the investigation and the pursuit. Her character carries the film's personal and professional conflict, moving from a position of responsibility into a fight for survival and credibility.

Pierce Brosnan, Bashar Rahal, Dylan McDermott, and Angela Evelyn Bassett join Jovovich in the ensemble. The available character information centers on the unnamed officer, the terrorist threat, and the forces involved in framing her, leaving the precise roles of the supporting characters undisclosed. Together, the cast supports a tense story of pursuit, suspicion, and international conspiracy.
