Story

During the final month of summer before high school, a 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy is caught between childhood and the unfamiliar world ahead. As he tries to learn how to skate and navigate the awkward beginnings of flirting, everyday experiences become lessons in confidence, vulnerability, and affection. At the center of his changing perspective is his relationship with his mother, whose love he is only beginning to understand.
