Series The Big Bang Theory: 1 Season (2007)

Story

Leonard and Sheldon are gifted physicists whose daily lives revolve around science, shared routines, and a close-knit circle of equally unconventional friends. Their carefully balanced social world gains a new dimension when Penny, an aspiring actress, moves into the apartment next door. Her arrival brings the two scientists and their friends Howard and Raj into more frequent contact with a neighbor whose ambitions and outlook differ sharply from their own.

The comedy grows out of the group's contrasting personalities, awkward encounters, and attempts to handle friendship, romance, and everyday situations from very different perspectives. Penny's easygoing presence is a lively counterpoint to Leonard and Sheldon's nerd-centric habits, while Howard and Raj add further energy to the ensemble.
