Overview

Blending crime, comedy, drama, and fantasy, Black follows a Grim Reaper, a detective, and a woman who can foresee death as they become connected to dark mysteries reaching back twenty years. This episode centers on an urgent manhunt and the tension between personal determination and an official investigation already in progress. The South Korean series, directed by Kim Hong-sun, combines an investigation into serial murder with supernatural questions and a continuing mystery rooted in the past. Its tone moves between peril, emotional pressure, and the unusual perspective created by characters who view death from very different positions.

Cast and Characters

The story brings together three contrasting figures: a Grim Reaper linked to the series' supernatural side, a detective involved in the criminal investigation, and Ha-ram, whose visions of death push her to pursue the truth despite the risks. Their different perspectives shape the episode's central conflict as Ha-ram follows a dangerous lead while an official case is already underway.

The cast includes Song Seung-heon, Lee El, Kim Won-hae, JE-Yun, and Jung Jong. Together they support the series' mix of investigative suspense, fantasy, dramatic tension, and darkly comic touches.
