Story
Carrie Bradshaw is invited to spend time at a beach house in the Hamptons, where an awkward morning encounter leaves her uncomfortable and unsure how to handle the situation. Back in the city, friends introduce her to Sean, a man known for taking relationships seriously and moving quickly toward commitment. Carrie finds his pace difficult to match, and Charlotte soon becomes part of the same romantic picture.
Meanwhile, Miranda is introduced by her colleague Jeff to a woman named Sid at a baseball game. The new connection leads to an invitation to a dinner party hosted by Miranda's senior partner, which brings questions of intimacy, social expectations, and personal choice into sharper focus. The episode balances comic embarrassment with the uncertainty of dating in New York.
