Series NCIS — 1 season, 8 episode

Story

The NCIS team travels to Cuba after a Navy translator dies suddenly while driving back to the United States from Guantanamo Bay. His death raises questions about his connection to smuggling at a detention center, drawing the agents into an investigation that reaches beyond a single fatal incident. As they examine the translator’s movements and professional ties, the case brings together military procedure, international tension, and the hidden risks surrounding classified work.

Set against the atmosphere of Guantanamo Bay and its closely guarded detention facilities, the episode follows the team as they work to establish what happened and why the translator may have become involved in an illicit operation. The investigation preserves the series’ blend of crime drama, action, and espionage while keeping the focus on evidence, military connections, and the pressure of working across borders.
