Gerald McMorrow (born 1970) is an English screenwriter and director. McMorrow studied film in New York and began his career as director of music videos for artists such as Tom Jones and Catatonia. He later worked with advertising, led television advertising for agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, and won one Creative Circle award and British Television Advertising. In 2002, he made his film debut, writing and directing the short film Thespian X, which won the TCM Award at the London Film Festival. In 2008, he made his debut in feature films with Franklin, a science fiction story divided between two parallel universes.
