Alexander Khmelik

Soviet scriptwriter, playwright, writer. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (11.02.1983). He graduated from the four courses of the Moscow Correspondence Institute of Printing (1947-1951). He worked at the All-Union Radio (1948-1950), literary officer in the newspaper Pionerskaya Pravda (1951-1953), literary editor in the magazine Vozhaty (1953-1958), head of the department of literature and art in the newspaper Pioneerskaya Pravda (1958 -1963), chief editor of the creative association "Youth" studio "Mosfilm" (1963-1969). In 1974-1987 he was deputy editor-in-chief of the Gorky film studio, editor-in-chief of the children's humorous newsreel “Yeralash”. Member of the Board of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR (1976-1986).
