Akhtem Seitablaiev

Akhtem Shevketovych Seitablaev — Honored Artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, director, screenwriter, theater and film actor. He was born on December 11, 1971 in the city of Yangiyus near Tashkent. In 1898, after finishing school, he left Uzbekistan with his family for the Crimea. There, he learned the basics of the acting profession at A. Zhukova's course at the Krymskyi Kulprosvituchilyshche (graduated in 1992). He continued his studies at the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after I. K. Karpenko-Kary in the workshop of H. Kononenko. In 1999, he received a diploma in directing and dramaturgy. For 12 years (from 1992 to 2004) he worked in Crimea at the Simferopol State Crimean Tatar Academic Music and Drama Theater.
