Tatyana Kravchenko

Russian character actress. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (5.11.1991). People's Artist of Russia (09/16/2002). In 1976 she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio (course of P. Massalsky and A. Tarasova) and was accepted into the Lenkom Theater, where she still works. “My real surname is Yakovlev, but when I entered Lenkom, Yankovsky advised to take some other one — they say there are too many Yakovlev actors. So I took my great-grandmother's name, Kravchenko.”
