Elyce Tufexis was born on October 27, 1975 in Montreal (Quebec, Canada) in a Greek family. In 1994 he graduated from high school; Dawson College in 2000, receiving a DEC diploma in theater. In 2001, he went to New York, but, having stayed there a little more than a year, he returned to Montreal penniless. In 2004, Elias played the role of Roger, a young student in the Canadian science fiction film Bait. The picture was not successful, but the actor saved up enough money to move to Vancouver and continue his activities there. At first Tufexis played small roles. He eventually took part in the television film “Where Dreams May Come” (2004), based on a book by Mitch Albom, starring John Voight, Michael Imperioli and Jeff Daniels. Elias Tufeksis played the role of Weber in the popular television series Supernatural. This was followed by the roles in the series “Smallville Secrets”: the first was insignificant, then the actor played Bronson and the third time Emil Lasalle. Tufexis began his career as a voice acting and motion capture actor in computer games in 2006 in Need for Speed: Carbon. Since then, he began to voice many video games. Elias’s two most popular characters are Andrei Kobin (Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist) and Adam Jensen (Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided). Tufexis's wife Michelle Bobac (also an actress) voiced Megan Reed in this game. According to the actor, he himself is a fan of the Deus Ex video game series, in particular, the original game published in 2000.
