Margarita Kupriyanov (November 24, 1924 - February 2005) - Soviet and Russian theater actress, people's artist of Russia. Margarita Kupriyanov was born on November 24, 1924 in the family of Grigory Afanasyevich Kupriyanov (1891–1949) and Maria Alekseevna (1903–1984). In 1944-1948 she studied in the studio at the Central Children's Theater (now the Russian Academic Youth Theater). After graduating from the studio, she was accepted into the MTC. She mainly played the role of an actress-travesty of the role of boys, but at the same time she created several significant female characters in V. S. Rozov’s plays “In Search of Joy” (Lena) and “In Good Hour!” (Katya). She played in the theater more than 60 roles. She died in February 2005 at the age of 81, and was buried at the Preobrazhensky cemetery in Moscow.
