Boris Pavlovich Filchikov (August 3, 1918 - January 15, 2006) - Soviet sound engineer of the Soyuzmultfilm studio, participated in the creation of about 500 Soviet and Russian cartoons, in the duplication of foreign cartoons and feature films. “When, standing at the microphone, you see the eyes of Bori Filchikov, all fears and doubts disappear. At 32, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Film Engineers with a degree in electrical engineering. In 1938-1940, he worked as a laboratory technician at the Research Institute of Filmmaking. Member of the Great Patriotic War. In 1946-1948 - the head of the sound department of the studio "Stereokino". From 1948 - head of the sound shop at the Soyuzmultfilm studio, where he worked until 1997. He died on January 15, 2006, was buried at the 13th section of the Babushkinsky cemetery.
