Vladimir Kapninsky

Vladimir Vasilievich Kapninsky (October 5, 1923–2006) is a Russian and Soviet children's writer, screenwriter, and artist. Entered the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. Studies have not finished. He worked as a graphic designer. From the 1950s he worked in the workshop of the rough cut, was a forecaster at the Soyuzmultfilm studio. Since the 1960s, cartoons directed by P. N. Nosov, B. S. Kotov, V. Ya. Bordzilovskii, B. P. Butakov, G. M. Kozlov, L. L. Kayukov and others have been filming scenarios based on his scripts. V. Kapninsky owns a number of children's books and fairy tales.
