Pavel Malkov

Director, composer. In 2003, he graduated from the directing department of the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and TV (St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Technology, workshop of Prof. L. I. Menaker). In 1996 he graduated from the oldest Petersburg musical school - the Choral School named. Glinka under Capella where he studied for 11 years. From 1996 to 1998 he studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Rimsky-Korsakov, but left her, going to the directing department of SPSUKiT’a. While still a student of the 5th year of SPbGUKiT, Pavel Malkov made his debut at the Petersburg studio Panorama with the 4th serial TV movie “Like in an old detective story ...” repeatedly broadcast on NTV and other regional channels. The second work of the director was the popular project “Cop Wars”. The success of the first 12 series set by Malkov has already spawned three sequels (the Cop wars - 4 are now in production). Although the director refused to make further series, he continued to work on the series as a composer (together with M. Koshevarov). Currently, P. Malkov continues to combine the career of a director and composer. He writes music not only for his productions, but also for the works of his colleagues in the director's workshop.
