Honored Artist of the RSFSR (07/06/1978). People's Artist of the RSFSR (10/23/1989). In 1939 he entered the theater school named after B.V. Schukin, but after a month of study he was drafted into the Red Army. And two years later the war began ... Having demobilized in 1946, he returned to the school.
