SELESNYEV VLADIMIR PROKHOROVICH Actor, theatrical figure. In 1960 he graduated from GITIS (course Vasily Alexandrovich Orlov). He made his debut in the cinema, while still studying at GITIS, starring in the first widescreen Soviet film "Poem of the Sea." After graduation, he played first at the Moscow Gogol Drama Theater, then at the Theater of the Moscow Council. At the same time continued to act in films: "Career Dima Gorin", "Green House", "War and Peace", "They went to the East", "Minute of Silence". In the early 70s, Vladimir Seleznev decided to leave the acting profession and engage in administrative and teaching activities. He worked for 16 years as Head of the Moscow Theater and Concert Organizations Directorate. He taught at the Higher Theater School named after MS Schepkin. Since 1992 - Professor, since 1995 - Vice-Rector of the MSU named after MS Schepkin. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2005).
