Alexander Filippenko

Merited Artist of the RSFSR (11/16/1989). People's Artist of Russia (09/25/2000). He graduated from school with a gold medal. In 1967, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with a degree in Physics of Fast Flowing Processes. For two years he worked as a senior engineer at the Institute of Geochemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. He was an active participant in amateur activities, skits, KVN in 1962-63. Since 1964 - the leading actor of the student theater of Moscow State University "Our House". In 1969, after the theater was closed, he joined the Lyubimov troupe at the Taganka Theater. In 1970 he entered the drama school named after BV Shchukin, from which he graduated as an actor (in 1977) and director, while continuing to work on the stage and in the cinema. In 1975 he moved to the Academic Theater. Evg. Vakhtangov. Since 1995, the artist works on contracts in various theaters in Moscow. Since 1996 - Head of the Mono-Duet-Trio Theater at the Mosconcert.
