Michael Tariverdiev

Composer. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (12/04/1979). People's Artist of the RSFSR (02/07/1986). Born in an Armenian family. He studied at the ten-year music school at the Tbilisi Conservatory in the piano class, at the Tbilisi Music School in the composition class of Professor Shalva Mshveledze. Graduated from the Gnesins Institute (1957, teacher Aram Khachaturian). In the cinema - since 1958 (“The Youth of Our Fathers”), designed 134 films (fiction, animation and documentary). In 1997, the composer’s book I Just Live is published.
