Alexander Polovtsev

As a child, he dreamed of diving to the bottom of the ocean, like Jacques-Yves Cousteau. At school I was engaged in a drama club. From the first time I did not enter the theater school, so I went to study at the Marine Instrument Technical College. The following year, he entered the acting department of LGITMiK. After graduating from the institute (1980), he worked for six years in the theater studio “Time”. The first serious work of Alexander Polovtsev in the movie - in the film by Sergei Ovcharov "It". Alexander Polovtsev owes his popularity to the role of Major Solovets in the television series "Menty", the first episodes of which were shot by director Alexander Rogozhkin.
