Igor Slabnevich
Cameraman, filmmaker. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (28.03.1974). He graduated from the Faculty of Cameraman VGIK (1953, workshop L.V. Kosmatova). Since 1953 - operator, since 1960 - director of photography studio "Mosfilm". The main camera work of Slabnevich began filming the epic "Liberation". His mastery is documented by the exact characteristics of the material being filmed, the magnitude and considerable spatial capacity of the frame. Among other notable works: “Wings”, “Moscow Doesn't Believe in Tears”, “Soldiers of Freedom”. As a director put the film: "According to the laws of war" (1983), "The Third Generation" (1985).
