Vadim Squirsky

He studied at the art school. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Culture (specialty - directing drama). Attended Courses in directing fiction and documentary films (class of prof. Aranovich). Graduated SPGATI (class of Lev Erenburg, specialty - direction). Staged productions “Needlework” (based on the works of Cortasar, Gogol, Shakespeare, Intestudio, 1994) and “Duty uplnik” (performance based on the play by Martina Kinski DAMU, Prague, Czech Republic, 2000). Co-writer and performer of one of the roles in the film “Happy end” (dir. V. Lanne, Czech television, 1998). (FIPRESSI Prize for Best Film, FAMU FEST, Czech Republic; Grand Prix for the Best Film in the On the Road nomination, IFF Trencianske (Teplice, Slovakia); Grand Prix of the Pure Dreams-4 festival (Deboshirfilm-2001, Russia )).
