Mikhail Efremov

Born in a theatrical family: father - O.N. Efremov, mother - actress "Contemporary" AB Pokrovskaya, grandfather - opera director B.A. Pokrovsky. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1995). He first appeared on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater as a boy - in the performances "Going Away, Look Around!" (1976) and Duck Hunting (1979). In 1987, with a break for military service, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of V. Bogomolov). In 1987-91 - art director of the Studio Theater "Sovremennik-2". In 1991-99 he worked at the Moscow Art Theater named after A. Chekhov. In the movie, he made his debut as a thirteen-year-old teenager in the film "Days of the Mishkin's Surgeon," and the film "When I become a giant" made him one of the most popular young actors of the country. Since 2000, Mikhail Efremov has been shooting a lot in the movies; he has significant roles in both films and TV shows. Increasingly, the directors use the extraordinary comedic talent of the actor.
