Story

Sam and Dean Winchester are finally in custody: FBI Agent Henricksen has captured the brothers and taken them to a small-town jail. Capture and confinement leave them little room for escape or explanation, and the situation grows far more dangerous when a horde of demons descends on the building with one aim, to eliminate the Winchesters.

Caught between federal law and an inhuman assault, Sam and Dean must rely on their instincts and their knowledge of the occult. They also have to deal with the uneasy presence of the man who has been hunting them. Henricksen finds himself in the middle of a conflict he never expected, and the episode sets a tense, contained crisis against the series' ongoing clash between ordinary institutions and forces beyond human understanding.

Overview

This is the twelfth episode of the third season of Supernatural, running about 43 minutes. It blends detective drama, science fiction, fantasy, and supernatural thrills as the brothers face danger from two directions at once.
