Story
In 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu and Ken Masters are pulled back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament, a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury. As the tournament gathers momentum, the fighters face punishing matches, buried tensions, and a deadly conspiracy operating behind the spectacle.
Ryu and Ken must contend with more than formidable opponents. Their fractured history and the demons of their past threaten to shape every decision, and the stakes push them toward facing each other. The story combines hard-hitting martial arts action with fantasy elements, keeping its focus on rivalry, old wounds, and the cost of unresolved conflict.
Overview
Drawing on the world of the Street Fighter franchise, the film builds on a classic tournament premise. Fighters collide in a high-stakes arena where the matches sit alongside a larger mystery. The tone balances physical intensity with intrigue, allowing character relationships to carry as much tension as the fights themselves.
This Japanese and American production comes from director Kitao Sakurai. Its action-driven approach, fantasy framework, and focus on the complicated bond between Ryu and Ken make it a good fit for viewers who enjoy martial arts spectacle alongside hidden agendas and character-centered conflict.
