Movie The Equalizer 3 (2023)

Story

Robert McCall finds himself at home in Southern Italy, far from the turbulence he once knew. The calm proves fragile: he discovers that friends he has made in the community are under the control of local crime bosses. As the pressure grows and events turn deadly, McCall decides to become their protector and take on the mafia.

The film combines action, crime and thriller elements. It sets a personal fight shaped by loyalty and responsibility against the backdrop of a close-knit Italian community. The tension comes less from an abstract mission than from the fate of people McCall knows personally, and from how far he is willing to go to defend them.
