The backbone of a house is a stable base. The same holds for learning any language, where vocabulary is the backbone. Basic Lexis on English Club TV introduces basic vocabulary to beginners. In each episode the viewers have the opportunity to learn 10 new words within the topic and see how they are used in context. The lessons are accompanied by appropriate pictures and videos, which demonstrate the usage of words in specific situations. The viewers learn the correct pronunciation of the words. There are tests at the end of each session to make sure that the viewer understands the words, their meaning and usage.
