Series NCIS — 1 season, 17 episode

Story

After a sailor is found dead following a party at an illegal nightclub, the NCIS team begins a careful investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The evidence points in several directions, with possible links to blackmail and an accidental killing among the leads they must examine. As the agents reconstruct the sailor's final hours, they work through conflicting clues and uncertain accounts while searching for the truth behind the gathering.

The case draws the team into a shadowy nightlife setting where private motives and hidden connections complicate a seemingly straightforward inquiry. Each detail may clarify what happened, yet the investigation keeps the circumstances deliberately uncertain.
