Mikhail Grigorievich Lvovsky (1919–1994) - Russian Soviet songwriter, playwright, screenwriter. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1985). Born on July 22, 1919 in Rostov-on-Don to a Jewish family. In the 1920s he lived with his mother in the Krasnodar Territory. He participated in the Great Patriotic War, including served in units deployed in Persia. He studied at the Literary Institute, graduated in 1952. He worked at the Radio Committee of the USSR, during the struggle against cosmopolitanism, was dismissed (his uncle - his mother's brother - by the name of Binder, who was in charge of the economic part in the US embassy, ​​appeared in the exposes of the turncoat Annabelle Bucar). Began to be printed only after 1953. In 1959 he became a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR. Wrote more than three hundred songs. He died on October 30, 1994. He was buried at Donskoy cemetery. The second wife - Elena Konstantinovna Makhlakh (1925-2006), philologist, editor of the Detgiz publishing house.
