Tatyana Pankova

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (03/29/1966). People's Artist of the RSFSR (04/16/1984). Sister of the Honored Artist of the RSFSR Pavel Petrovich Pankov (1922-1978). She studied at the Leningrad State University at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, transferred to the Polytechnic Institute at the Department of Metallurgy (graduated in 1939). In Moscow she entered the Schepkinsky School at the Maly Theater, she studied at the KA course. Zubova and A.P. Georgian. Participant of the Great Patriotic War. From 1943, she served in the troupe of the Maly Theater (Pankov was recalled from the front-line theater when Nikolai Pogodin brought the Creation of the World to the Maly Theater). The young actress was entrusted with the role of the old woman Semenovna - the first serious age role in the repertoire of the beginning actress, which determined her further role. For more than half a century of serving the only scene, Tatyana Petrovna Pankova played more than a hundred roles, and each of them, according to the acclaim of critics and spectators, became an event. The true masterpiece of Tatiana Pankova in the movie remained the role of Princess Annenkova in the movie “The Star of Captivating Happiness”. In the 1990s, the actress often starred in TV shows in small roles.
