Nikolay Anenkov

In 1917 he graduated from the Tambov real school. In 1924 he graduated from the Higher Theater Workshops at the Small Theater (now the Theater School named after MS Schepkin). From 1925 until the very last days of his life, and Annenkov lived for exactly one hundred years, all his creative activity was associated with the “House of Ostrovsky” and his theatrical school - the Shchepkin College. From 1946 he taught at the Schepkin Theater School. Since 1961 - Professor. Among his students: N.V. Podgorny, OI Dahl, V.P. Pavlov, V.M. Solomin and many others. He played on the stage of the Maly Theater. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1937). People's Artist of the RSFSR (1949). People's Artist of the USSR (1960). Academician of the International Academy of Theater (1999).
