Vladimir Zheleznikov

Born into a border guard family. In 1945 he moved to Moscow. He studied at the Artillery School, at the Law Institute. In 1957 he graduated from the Institute of Literature named after A. M. Gorky. He worked in the magazine "Murzilka". He named the writer Vitaly Bianki and the artist Vladimir Lebedev as his teachers.
