Binod Pradhan

Binod grew up in the picturesque town of Kalimpong, West Bengal. Based on a modest Nepalese background, Binod received his first boxed camera in his early years from his father, H.K. Pradhan, who ran a photo studio. Binod shot black and white pictures and tried to paint them with watercolors. Binod Pradhan is by far one of the most successful Indian operators. He has accounted for more than 30 films, such as Devdas, Everything Will Be Alright, Saffron's Color and The Talisman of Good Luck.
