Anatoly Grachev

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (11/12/1978). People's Artist of Russia (08/31/1998). After the death of his mother in 1947, he moved to his grandmother in the Ulyanovsk region, where he graduated from school, where he also worked as a laboratory assistant. In 1954 he went to Salavat, where he worked as an assembly fitter. Since childhood, he showed acting skills, participated in amateur activities, worked in the Palace of Culture in the dance, vocal and dramatic circles. In 1955 he entered the GITIS (workshop I.M. Rajewski). A.A. Goncharov invited him, another 4th year student, to the Moscow Drama Theater (on Spartakovskaya Square). In 1962, the theater moved to Malaya Bronnaya, here Grachev worked until 1993. He played in performances staged by A. Goncharov, P. Fomenko, S.А. Barkan, I. Sudakova, V. Kramov, O. Ya. Remez, A.L. Dunayev. In 1967, AV came to the theater. Efros. Associated with this director are the best works of Grachev. “Efros was and remained for me the most important reference point in art,” the artist confessed. After the opening in 1993 of the Et cetera theater under the direction of A.A. Kalyagin was invited to participate in the role of Serebryakov in AP Uncle Vanya. Chekhov staged by A. Sabinin and stayed to work in this theater. He played in performances in the enterprise M.M. Kozakova. Since 1957, starred in the cinema (more than 40 films), played the Pretender in Boris Godunov A.S. Pushkin, staged by Anatoly Efros on television.
