Dmitry Astrakhan

Director of theater and cinema, actor, producer, screenwriter. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Born in 1957. In 1982 he graduated from LGITMiK (workshop A. A. Musil). From 1981 to 1996, he staged more than 40 performances in various theaters. Since 1990 he has been working in cinema. Most of the films produced by Dmitry Astrakhan were shot according to scenarios by playwright Oleg Danilov, the regular author of the director. He is director of over 25 films and TV shows.
