Viktor Stanislavovich Koval (born September 29, 1947, Moscow) - Russian poet, prose writer, artist, film actor. There are also songs on his poems, performed by Andrey Lipsky. Born in 1947 in Moscow in the family of a soldier. In 1955-1961, he actively acted in films as an actor. He graduated from the Art School, Moscow Polygraphic Institute (graphic arts department). Draws illustrations for books, magazines and newspapers. Since the 1970s, known as a poet; at the end of the 1980s, he entered the famous poetic group Almanac (M. Aizenberg, S. Gandlevsky, T. Kibirov, V. Koval, D. Novikov, D. A. Prigov, L. Rubinstein). Published in the magazines "Banner", "Theater Life", "Esquire", "Big City", in "Novaya Gazeta"; in compilations, almanacs and anthologies: “Personal file No.”, “Personal file No. 2”, “Samizdat of the century”, “Russian verses of 1950-2000”, “Revue svetovej literatury (Bratislava)”, “The Poetry of Perestroika” ( Manchester). Participated in poetry festivals in Moscow, Yaroslavl, Volgograd, Samara, Tolyatti, London, Cambridge, Gothenburg, Milan. The author of four poetic books. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Member of the Writers' Union of Moscow. Lives in Moscow. In 2007 he was awarded the prize “Golden Calf” of the “Literary Gazette” (“The Club of 12 Chairs”).
